Vera Kravchik graduated from the Faculty of Geography of St. Petersburg University and the Higher School of Social Pedagogy in Berlin.
She taught geography in the Jewish gymnasium in St. Petersburg, worked with homeless children in a Russian-German project.
For the last 15 years, she has been working as a social pedagogue in the Diaconics advisory service for immigrants in Berlin. She supports immigrants in exercising their rights regardless of their ethnic origin, religion, and social status.
She has been involved in organizing and conducting a number of art and theatre projects with homeless children in St. Petersburg and immigrants in Berlin.
